I was  looking for working watch and found my old watch sitting in the basement gifted to me by my father on my wedding more than36 years ago . I was amazed to find it still working, winding watch ,   . It is Timestar with 17 jewels(used a magnifier to read the name of company . It is gold in color and still shining . I do not know why and how  I brought it here in US  when I left even silvar jewelery sitting in kitchen cabinet along with each and every dish as if  we would go back one day to cook food and eat using all things needed   . Though at least 15 watches gifted to different people in India by me I cannot find a watch for myself when I needed . I can buy it but after few months it needs a battery to run it ,so I stopped buying more and more as time can be checked by car watch , time clock every where in the house but wrist watch has its own importance . I will keep this watch as my memory .The battery costs 6 dollars here and with same money we can buy a new watch at a cheap store .
The prices of watches gifted by me were from 22- 35 dollars each . I donot know how many people still using any watch but I need a new watch to wear at work and will buy it in near future . Not a big deal !!
